Have you ever wondered what the afterlife will be like? Many video games interpret it in different ways, as you would expect, but with the upcoming title Taste of Heaven, by Thousand Generation Games and Chromatic Dream, they’re ensuring that their cooking RPG isn’t just easy on the taste buds…but easy on the eyes, too. After all, in this RPG with roguelite elements, you’ll be able to romance your way to happiness via a set of romancable partners that you’ll meet in said afterlife.

“In Taste of Heaven, romance is woven into the fabric of daily life in the afterlife. Players will cook favourite dishes, and navigate branching dialogue to deepen bonds with characters who each hold secrets of their own. Every playthrough offers new opportunities to discover what lies beneath the surface of these eccentric and endearing souls.”

It might not look like it at first, but the game is inspired by Spirited Away in its visuals, and that’ll make it all the more interesting as things develop. The title is scheduled to release in early 2027.
