Planet Zoo 2’s Newest Animal Spotlight Video Features the African Leopard

Many of us grew up playing a certain zoo management simulator game on the Nintendo DS, creating enclosures that would cause animal rights activists and personal injury lawyers to rightfully sue us into oblivion. That’s why you, an adult who better understands digital animals, may be delighted to hear more from the highly anticipated sequel to Planet Zoo. Frontier Developments has released their newest animal spotlight video for the building simulator Planet Zoo 2, choosing to focus on the African Leopard.

This game will feature a wide variety of animals, including the superstar of the Savannah:

“As one of the animal kingdom’s most accomplished climbers, the African Leopard makes full use of vertical habitats. Zoo managers who build well-placed climbing platforms and enrichment items will be rewarded with authentic, true-to-life behaviours, giving guests the perfect opportunity to spot these shy big cats high above the ground.

These stealthy big cats thrive across a diverse range of ecosystems in the Great Rift Valley Reserve, from dense forests and large wetlands, where they typically live solitary lives unless raising cubs.”

You can watch the full video below. Planet Zoo 2 will be available on October 13, 2026, for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S.
