GenCon 2026 is being held on July 30th to August 2nd in Indianapolis, Indiana. Indie games fans can expect to meet the teams behind some of their favorite digital and tabletop titles, including the team at Metis Creative.

Team Metis will be stationed at Booth 1751 this year, with several GMs running games of Solaris Arcanum, Echoes of Renaissance, and Era of the Crusades.

On the topic of their projects, the team had exciting news to share about Solaris Arcanum, their occult sci-fi TTRPG:

“All the writing and illustrations on Solaris Arcanum are done, and the design team has been busy finishing up the Core Rulebook, GM Guide, and the three Mission Zines. Once they are all laid out, we’ll give the books the final proof reads and checks, and then PDFs will be sent your way! While you guys are getting cozy in the Solar Reach, our production team will get to work on manufacturing the hardcovers and physical goodies.”

They’ve also discussed updates to Historica Arcanum: Cult of London, an alternate-history strategy board game set in Victorian England:

“After months of back and forth with our manufacturing partner to get all the physical components just right, we finally received the production samples, and we are moving ahead with the final printing process! This entire manufacturing process took much longer than expected, but we wanted to leave nothing to chance, inspecting each and every piece before it went to print.”

Fans of the 5E-based Historica Arcanum TTRPG are not to be disappointed, however:

“The creative team is in the trenches working on The Coven of Salem, our biggest project yet! The writing team is currently wrapping up our work on The Tome of Crooked Paths to be sent to playtest, and we finished the prep work for both the Setting Guide and the Adventure Module. The illustration team is also making good progress in visualizing the haunting beauty of 17th-century New England.”
