We’ve been talking about Hell Galaxy since June, and it was meant to drop in July. However, Italian Games Factory has announced that the launch on Steam has been pushed back to August 12th. According to a press release, the reason for this is that the team needs more time to do some balancing and optimization before the full release. They noted they want to deliver the “best possible experience” for the game and its players, so the delay is necessary.

Giorgio Xhaxho, Lead Producer at Italian Games Factory, said this on the matter:

“We’re incredibly close to the finish line, and while Hell Galaxy is already in a great place, we believe taking a little more time now will make a big difference for players on launch day. These final weeks will allow us to fine-tune balancing, add the last layer of polish and make sure everyone gets the best possible Version 1.0 experience. We can’t wait to welcome players to the Neterun galaxy on August 12.”
