We’ve been covering the Kickstarter campaign for Children Of Time: The Roleplaying Game since its launch earlier this year. It’s been doing incredibly well since that point, and in its latest update, the team at Rowan, Rook, and Decard revealed how they’ve not only crossed $140,000 raised, but that they are now able to upgrade one of their rewards as a result of this. Specifically, the corebook slip case will get the following upgrades:
- A slick ‘viewport’ cutout window that will allow you to display your favourite cover even when the books are packed away.
- A printed inner liner for the slipcase, so that even if the case is empty,
- You can still see a gorgeous starscape through the viewport. Upgrade the card itself to thick greyboard, so that the cutout doesn’t interfere with the design in any way.
The team also teased that more is on the way via their next stretch goal:
“And speaking of upgrades, we’re not stopping here! Our next stretch goal is an expansion of new content to the Your Planet book, focusing on the theme of ‘The Plague’, including a new social cohort and a dramatic crisis to bring to your tables. What happens when a strange and alien disease spreads through the planet’s population? How do the infected find a new place in society in the generations to come?”
As of this post, the campaign has just over 10 days left in the campaign. So, if you’re curious about how far things can go, and how big this tabletop title can get, head on over to the campaign and see if you want to be the next backer!
