Co-op shooters are a popular thing, as there are plenty of gamers who want to play alongside their friends and have a blast…as they blast foes with extreme prejudice. If you’re looking for a brand-new game to enjoy, one that has been trying to “work stuff out” but is now ready for launch, then you’ll want to check out Rogue Point. The game by Crowbar Collective and Team17 dropped its 1.0 version of the co-op shooter today, which means you’ll get the “result of hard work” as you play. Here’s a breakdown of the title, alongside its launch trailer:

“Access. Rogue Point delivers a tense multiplayer experience, setting players the deadly task of overcoming evolving missions where strong teamwork is essential for success – and survival.

The game’s v1.0 launch brings a host of new content for operatives to utilise, including a fifth map in the form of the Clinic (filled with confining corridors and spaces), three new weapons (the Mule small shotgun, KT50 semi-automatic carbine, and the A1M semi-automatic marksman rifle), plus new cosmetics (chainmail armor, security guard uniform, and lab worker).

It isn’t just a slew of rewards waiting for players: Rogue Point now features a brand- new MERX boss, the Oil Rig. This pyro-happy, flame-throwing adversary will keep the Rogues hot footing it as they sweep the map.”
