Is there truly nothing more adrenaline-pumping than delivering packages? You’ve gotta make sure you have the right goods, will arrive at the destination on time, and run away from the police because you’re going twice the speed limit on a residential road. Fortunately, someone has turned this entirely universal experience into a delivery simulation game for the more jail-adversed: Cyber752 Games‘s Cargo, Please! has released on Steam, with a launch discount of 20% for the first two weeks.

In this game, the player must outrun the cops as they precariously balance loads and loads of cargo in the back of their vehicle:

“Every job begins by accepting a shipment, but not every delivery is safe, simple, or legal. Get caught breaking traffic laws and the police will fine you; damage your cargo along the way and you’ll lose money on the delivery itself. Shipments are auto-generated, so no two runs feel the same, and most jobs reward the driver who can find the balance between speed and control, rather than the one who simply floors it.”

Cargo, Please! includes a full day-night cycle, progression in vehicles and job difficulty, and other features:

• “Auto-Generated Shipments: Every job is procedurally created, with its own cargo type, fragility, and delivery window, so no two runs ever play the same.
• Risk vs Reward: Reckless driving risks fines and broken cargo, while cautious driving costs you time. Every delivery is a judgment call.
• Vehicle Progression: Work your way up from scooters to bikes, delivery trucks, and heavy trucks with trailers, each tier unlocking unique deliveries, better pay, and full customization with paint and wheels.
• Taxi Driver Mode: Angry passengers instead of cargo, with the same risk of fines and damage, but without the narrative and dialogue of a standard delivery run.”
