Super Rare Games has recently announced that their next Nintendo Switch 2 release will be award-winning The Midnight Walk, developed by MoonHood and published by Fast Travel Games. It’s set to release on August 13 at 6PM BST.

In this adventure horror game, the player wander through a world of claymation wonder and terror:

“Become The Burnt One, befriend a lost lantern creature named
Potboy, and use his flame to light your way through a conflicting
world of wonder and suspense. Survive and outsmart the many
monsters eager to devour your little friend’s flame as you
experience five tales of fire and darkness, featuring an incredible
cast of odd characters.”

Originally for PC via Steam, The Midnight Walk‘s physical Switch 2 release will come in a Standard (5000 copies) and a Special Edition (2000 copies).

The Standard Edition will contain:

• “Nintendo Switch 2 game cartridge
• Full-colour manual
• Numbered Nintendo Switch 2 slipcover
• The Midnight Walk x SRG sticker”

Meanwhile, the Special Edition will include everything from the Standard Edition plus:

• “Potboy Split Ring
• Full CD Soundtrack
• Full set of trading cards, including the rare shiny card
• Premium clamshell collector’s box featuring full game artwork”
