Has something ever happened to you that led to a “huge misunderstanding” of events that occurred before and after? Well, Artificium Games is capitalizing on that kind of plot with its debut title Oops! You’re the Hero! As the game’s title suggests, you are a person, in this case, a thief, who accidentally takes a legendary sword that makes EVERYONE, both good and bad, think you’re a legendary hero! …yeah…oops! Now, you’re being forced to endure the adventure ahead just so you can make it out alive. The game will drop on Steam on September 15th. “Oops! You’re the Hero! is a top-down action-adventure game set in a fantasy world where players control a thief who gets more than he bargains for in his latest escapade. After stealing a long- forgotten artifact, the world’s monsters, villains, and all-around bad guys deem the thief the world’s hero and try to stop him at all costs. The thief must then embark on an adventure to return what he stole after deciding the hero’s life isn’t for him.”

A key dynamic of the top-down action-adventure title is that you don’t HAVE to play like a hero. Instead, you can be the thief you are and use tools and items to get through battles and obstacles in ways you wouldn’t expect a “legendary hero” to do.
