Starting today, gamers can auto(battle) their way across the galaxy in myradann‘s Void Salvage on Steam for $6.99 USD, alongside a 15% launch discount.
This intergalactic autobattler started off a small solo project on Itch.io, but community feedback has turned it into the game it is today. Developer Myra D’Ann Boholst said:
“I have spent a lot of time refining the progression, improving the balance, making the systems easier to understand, and adding more ways for players to build completely different ships. I wanted to keep the early game approachable while still creating a challenging long-term experience with plenty of room for experimentation. I am really excited to finally see the combinations, strategies, and ridiculously overpowered builds players come up with.”
Now, the game has a variety of features, including shipbuilding and two distinct modes for players of all shapes:
“Choose between roguelike runs and incremental progression modes, both built around auto battler combat. Void Salvage takes you from a vulnerable exploration vessel to an overpowered warship brimming with lasers, lighting, drones and more. Push deeper into the galaxy, harvest resources and invest in permanent updates that strengthen future runs.”
Other key features include:
- “Combine modules, augments and drones, then customize them with socket bonuses to create a build that suits your playstyle
- Brave space hazards including asteroid fields, ion storms, pulsars, and solar flares
- Balance fuel, hull integrity and shield strength in a constant battle of risk vs reward
- Customise a skill tree across 62 upgrade nodes, with the option to respec at any time
- Choose one of 15 unlockable ships, each featuring unique perks or pre-equipped systems
- Face four enemy factions, each with distinct tactics to learn and overcome
- Enable Idle Mode to earn resources while offline or toggle Desktop Mode on Windows
- Unlock 60 Steam achievements, each serving as a milestone that rewards your progress”
