UK-based game publisher Kwalee (Don’t Stop, Girly Pop!, Shift at Midnight) and indie-developer The Wild Gentlemen (Moses & Plato, Chicken Police) will hit the dancefloor with their new “disco-punk” experience RetroSpace on October 1, 2026. The game is an immersive experience that honors those that came before it.

In RetroSpace, you’re a normal janitor roped into becoming humanity’s savior after a sentient blackhole swallows your space craft. Go through missions with stealth, or blast your way to safety. Choose to be the savior of earth, or an executioner vying to save your own skin. This narrative-driven horror satire allows you to choose your way to play.

Aurora 5, the famed space station, is a massive, open and interconnected map for you to explore and unlock at your leisure. Use your preferred strategy to unlock rooms, find secrets, and discover the dozens of strange animals aboard the station. Blast enemies, modify your body, and leap through time, all in this space bound horror comedy. Prefer a more conflict-adverse approach? Ditch the “balls-to-the-wall action” for a trap-setting, stealthy experience. The space-time continuium is your oyster.
