Publisher GRYPHLINE shared in their latest livestream that the next content update for Arknights: Endfield-Dreamscape of Wind and Snow, is set to launch on September 2.

It’s hard to not know about the Arknights franchise these days, but Endfield marks its exploration into the world of console and PC strategy games. The latest update features the new landscape of the Snowy Forest, as well as a new character:

“An easygoing icefield huntress with an almost obsessive curiosity about Sami legends, Typhoeus has traveled far in search of stories that might otherwise be lost to time… Wielding a bow as tall as she is, Typhoeus is a Nature Striker who can leap into the air, fire at multiple targets and evade ground-based attacks. She can also deploy a Barrage Array to slow enemies, combining aerial mobility, traps and concentrated Nature Burst damage.”

Alongside this addition comes a new exploration map in the form of a town perpetually stuck in a timeloop, as well as the option to recruit a character for free later on:

“Also beginning Sept. 24, the Purrchena Tribute Event allows players to obtain Purrchena, a Physical Defender, as well as her recommended weapon, Dessert Moment. As the Brand Ambassador for the Ætherside Syndrome Relief Foundation, Purrchena sees her friends and fellow patients as family and is determined to protect them. In combat, she raises her shield to protect nearby teammates and delivers gift boxes that heal allies or trigger different support effects. Completing all six event missions provides enough copies to maximize the Potential of both Purrchena and Dessert Moment.
