Genigods Lab has officially revealed its flagship title, Genigods: Nezha with a trailer during Open Night Live gamescom 2026. Available for the PlayStation 5, XBOX, and PC, attendees can play a demo version at the Genigods Lab booth.

Rooted in ancient Chinese mythology, this action RPG puts the player in the shoes of the legendary deity Nezha as they embark on a primordial journey:

“The game builds an exclusive three-stage growth path: porcelain vessel → first mortal human → celestial ascension. As the first artifact crafted by Nüwa in creation mythology, the female-led storyline inherits the rare matriarchal core of Chinese ancient myths, enriching the diversity of eastern hero narratives on global console and PC platforms.”

The game faithfully draws from real artifacts, and combined with its unique combat system, grounds the player in a rich world where the past and future unite:

“Players switch seamlessly between terrestrial melee and full 3D free aerial combat, restoring the iconic scene of celestial gods fighting across heaven and earth and delivering exclusive eastern divine combat experience…

Equipping full sets of exclusive artifacts unlocks the iconic eight-armed battle form, integrating traditional Chinese myth aesthetics with futuristic cyber styles to create a globally recognizable eastern divine hero image.”
