Playtime Co. is expanding.

From the world of Poppy Playtime, Mob Entertainment announced the newest expansion of its world today during the Future Games Show at gamescom. Escape from Playtime is an upcoming co-op horror game where you play as one of the Smiling Critters. Tasked by an unseen voice, it’s your job as the Critters to give it what it needs. Try to survive as you make your way through the factory, collecting items, supplies, and various resources.  

A word of caution, though: you aren’t the only dangerous thing lurking through these halls. 

Venture through the warehouse, testing labs, classrooms, and more as part of the dark halls of Playtime Co.. Players have to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and scavenge for parts, all while avoiding the rejected. These tossed aside creations are set to hunt, and so much as a whisper can bring it all to an end. 

This latest connection in the franchise will build on the story created in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3. It’s hard to tell, though, if some questions are meant to be answered. While obvious that something far bigger is at work within, it is hard to tell what it is. It’s up to the players to decide and to solve the mystery growing within this warehouse. 

Key Features:

• Critter Co-Op: Play solo or team up with up to 3 friends in a fight for survival inside Playtime Co. More Critters means more ground covered and more chances for something to go horribly wrong, all enabled with proximity voice chat.
• The Voice: A mysterious Voice sends players into the facility to collect scattered parts and resources. Gather what you need, bring it back safely, and try not to ask too loudly who or what you are really working for.
• Scavenge to Survive: Use whatever the factory gives you to stay alive. Search for tools, uncover clues, find hiding spots, create distractions, and use alternate routes to outmaneuver the rejected Playtime Co. creations stalking the halls.
• Mini Mode: Crawl, jump, and climb through every nook and cranny of the Playtime Co. factory as a Smiling Critter and experience some of the most iconic Poppy Playtime locations
