There are many “layers” to Hollywood, and for some, the closest they know they’ll get to that world is through the items that were a part of great productions. You know, the props! In Hollywood Hustle, a newly announced game by Woodpile and Maximum Entertainment, you’ll get to take on the challenge of finding the greatest Hollywood props possible to make the most epic collection ever. Yes, this simulator is all about feeding your inner nerd, and it sounds like a lot of fun. Want to learn more? Go check out the breakdown and reveal trailer below:

“In Hollywood Hustle, players explore abandoned movie-set backlots and shovel through massive piles of trash in search of valuable and unusual props. Every dig is a gamble, with loot ranging from common finds to legendary treasures. Players can sell what they discover, break rarer items down into crafting resources, and fill their bags with matching loot for bonus rewards.

With its mix of exploration, scavenging, collection and crafting, Hollywood Hustle turns abandoned movie sets into playgrounds for discovery. From rummaging through backlot junk to finding a rare piece of movie-set treasure, every pile offers the chance to find something unexpected.”

While this may sound “out there,” trust us when we say that there are definitely people who do this in real life and aren’t afraid to show off the “fruits of their labors.” Here are some key features of the game:

Dig & Discover: Explore abandoned Hollywood backlot sets and shovel through massive trash piles to uncover hidden treasures.

• Six Studio Districts: Discover six distinct areas, each featuring different props, loot and vibes inspired by different film genres.

• Meet Your Robot Sidekick: A clumsy, lovable helper who hauls your bags, celebrates your wins, and reacts with a personality of its own.

There is a demo on the Gamescom floor if you’re there. If not, wishlist the title on Steam!
