We’ve been doing our best to cover the news from gamescom, and that’s quite a swath of games to talk about! We’re still rolling, though, as Sword Sage: Awakening is the next game we’ll discuss. The title from 4Divinity and SwordPandaGames is on its way, but during the Future Games Show at gamescom, they dropped a new trailer showing off the gameplay and how you can “master the blade” within. This action RPG title will have plenty of combat for you to do, so if you’re up for taking on the challenge, you might want to check out the trailer and synopsis below:

“A thousand years ago, forbidden celestial texts never meant for humankind were unsealed, unleashing monstrous Yaoguai and devastating natural disasters. Now, Pei Sanniang, a young disciple of the Yuangong Sect, must learn to fight back.

The new trailer follows Pei Sanniang as she faces off against otherworldly enemies, armed with formidable martial arts abilities, mystical artifacts, and the secret sword technique of her sect. Beyond combat, the trailer provides a look at the game’s Xianxia world, showcasing ancient temples, mountain paths, and bamboo forests Pei Sanniang must traverse on her journey to vanquish the ancient Yaoguai and restore her homeland.”
