The Nintendo Switch 2 is dominating the gaming market, let no one tell you differently. One of the ways you can tell that is numerous 3rd party developers, and indie teams, are working hard to bring their biggest games to the new platform, as they know it’s likely to do good sales numbers on it. Cygames has been getting on that train for a bit, and now, they’ve revealed that Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is available for pre-order on Switch 2 via the eShop. A key thing they noted in the press release about the pre-orders opening up is that a lot of content from the RPG’s past will be available immediately in the Switch 2 version:

“Coming exclusively to the Nintendo SwitchTM 2 version of GBVSR, Gyro Versus is a new mode that allows players to perform combos and abilities by shaking their Joy- ConTM or Joy-ConTM 2, giving anyone the chance to indulge in the rush of battle no matter their skill level. Gyro Versus will only be playable in Versus Mode on the Nintendo SwitchTM 2 version of GBVSR.

Additionally, two new system mechanics, Chain Attack and Super Ultimate+, will be added to GBVSR with the Version 2.60 update. Chain Attacks are a useful tool that will provide players with more combo opportunities. Super Ultimate+ is a unique
control scheme where players can experience powerful versions of characters that far exceed their standard capabilities, adding a distinct twist to battle.”
