If you really think about it, sports are the real-life roguelike game we play. Every match is different; you never know what’ll happen next, and you have to work with what you have, or who you have, to win. In the case of Furyball Rogue Revenge, though, this title from developer Rebound really wants to amp up the idea of “roguelike intensity,” and as part of Steam Next Fest, they’ve dropped a new demo to prove their point. Within this new demo is:
- a full gang to defeat,
- 3 difficulty modes,
plenty of build & modules,
2 Furyballs with different playstyles,
A BOSS battle!
Want to know even more? Here’s the official synopsis about the game:
“In a sun-scorched future, the Furyball, a new bloody sport rules one of the last bastions of civilization.
You are an outsider from the slums, armed with a Furyball and with nothing to lose. You have one night to cross a city ruled by dangerous sports gangs and reach the Furydome for your final battle.
Master your Furyball, upgrade your gear, create unstoppable combos of rebounds and kick some asses with your ball!”
If you’re game, jump into the demo, or head to Early Access to help make the build even better over time! The choice is yours, as is whether you are able to step up to the challenge or not!
