Narrative RPG Hollow Home Ends Campaign With 140% of Goal

We’ve done our best to report on current Kickstarter titles that might catch your interest, whether they be video games or tabletop titles. However, for Hollow Home, from Crunchy Leaf Games, we felt compelled to let you know how the campaign ended. Hint: it was a success. They were on KS for just 20 days, and yet made over $21,000. That’s 140% of the goal they had, which is more important than you may think. After all, sometimes surprise expenses come up, and this ensures they have a “pad” to finish development.

As for what the game is…

Hollow Home is a narrative survival RPG developed by Twigames, a studio based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Players take on the role of Maksym, a teenager surviving the earliest days of a city under siege. With no combat system, the game centres entirely on
dialogue, choice, and the everyday work of survival – managing Maksym’s Resolve as the city around him changes day by day. The game draws on real events from 2022 and is built by developers who have continued work on the project throughout the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.”

As noted by the team, the extra funds will help them make even more of the game, and the devs wanted to thank the fans personally for their support:

“We are so grateful to everyone who backed Hollow Home and helped us get here. Knowing that players around the world want to experience this story means everything to us. We cannot wait to bring the game to Xbox and PC later this year and finally let everyone play it in full.”

If you wish to be a part of the campaign, and get some of the Kickstarter rewards through it, you can be a late pledger. Just so you know, certain rewards will have a higher cost than during the campaign due to that.
