Who doesn’t love a good demo to try out a game and see if it’s something worth playing in the long run? BitQuest Studio wants you to play its latest game, the survival title Ashfield Hollow, so they’ve dropped a demo on Steam today for you to enjoy! Naturally, since this is a survival game with zombies in it, it’s not meant to be easy, so here’s some context as to what the game is truly about:
“Ten years after the outbreak, you wake up in Camp Ashfield with no memory of who you were and a new life to build in what remains of the world. Ashfield Hollow is a 2D post-apocalyptic life sim blending real-time survival combat with farming, base building, and the slow work of rebuilding a life in a world that nearly ended. And still can.”
As for what the demo itself offers, it’s quite robust, as you’ll see from the description below:
“The demo covers the first 50 days in Camp Ashfield, roughly 10 hours of gameplay on default settings. Save data carries over to the full release, so nothing you build is wasted. The demo is fully controller and Steam Deck-friendly, and comes with extensive sandbox options, from the character creator through to fine-tuning zombie numbers, health, detection range, and respawn speed, so every playthrough can be tuned exactly how you want it.”
That still only scratches the surface of what the game is and all that it offers. As such, you should head to Steam, try out the demo, and then see if you can survive long enough to make an impact!
