Card games have been REALLY popular lately, and many like to mix genres to “spice things up” and offer twists that players don’t expect. The teams at 1+1 Studios and Rising Tide will drop their co-op roguelike card battler Duo Quest on September 16th, and they are truly excited about it. One of the key reasons they’re excited is that the game will feature online co-op at launch. Given the nature of the game, that’s important, as it further expands what players can do in it. For a full look at what’s ahead, check out the synopsis and trailer below:
“Duo Quest is a co-op game unlike any other – your REAL WORLD RELATIONSHIPS are a game mechanic. You and a partner fight monsters while answering questions about each other to create powerful attacks. The better you know each other, the more damage you deal. It’s a fresh take on co-op gaming that’s already earned over 27,000 wishlists, an Indie Wave Maker award for graphics, design or mechanics at Gamescom Asia 2025, a finalist for Best Multiplayer at Gamescom LATAM 2026, and a finalist for SEA Game Awards 2026, all from a team of first-time developers making their debut.”
