Another stunning trailer released last week during gamescom! Developer Zeitgeist Studio and publisher HYPER REAL‘s new cinematic trailer for their debut “daylight horror cult mystery” game, Name of the Will, aired during IGN Live @ Gamescom stream, starting at 1:56:46. And it is something special.
What you’ll see is a beautifully drawn game depicting a truly unsettling life in a cult, with every single member forced to conform. If they don’t, they’re met with dire consequences. And as life shambles on for the cultists, the Benevolent Father is ever on the prowl.
The press release also gave a creative synopsis of the game, written like it was penned by a member of the cult trying to warn players, only to be censored. Here’s a special look:
“Embed within HOPE’s 34-story Reformation facility as Neighbor 3279, and hide every emotion behind an ever-smiling mask. Mind each word and deed to

The effort put into writing out the cult’s censorship combined with what viewers will see in the trailer promise an extraordinary game to come.
Name of the Will is set to release in early 2027. In the meantime, a demo is available to play on Steam now. Those at gamescom were given the opportunity to try out never-before-seen content at Indie Arena Booth. Keep a close eye on the game, and give what’s available a go when you can! Just make sure no one is keeping too close an eye on you.
