Action Simulator Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance Announced

Every day in our world, there are people who need to be saved. How we go about saving them has changed immensely over the years, and for good reason. There have been immense technological advances that have 100% saved lives. Anraga Studios and The Farm 51 have decided to make a game based on some of those advances via the upcoming simulator title Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance. Set in the near future, you’ll have to use various drones to overcome obstacles and save those in danger, regardless of the circumstances surrounding them. You can check out the game’s breakdown and announcement trailer below:

“Fires, explosions, natural disasters, infrastructure failures, missing people, and extreme weather events – during the campaign, the player is sent wherever a situation spirals out of control. They must assess the threat, decide how to respond,
choose the right machine, and carry out the operation under time pressure.

The drone in Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance is not a flying camera, but a physical machine the player has to learn to control. Mass, inertia, thrust, aerodynamics, battery, damage, and weather conditions all affect how the drone behaves. Wind can push the machine off course, extra weight will change how it responds to controls, and a configuration prepared earlier in the workshop can make a real difference during an operation.

The game will offer two control models. Simulator will be an experience closer to real drone piloting, while Arcade will use additional assistance, letting players with no drone experience jump in quickly too. Between operations, the player will upgrade and modify their machines, choosing parts that affect their performance, durability, and flight character.”

The teams put a lot of effort into making this feel like more than just a simulator, but a story-rich tale driven by the people you are saving, and the ones behind the drones. Here are some of the features you can look forward to:

“Full fleet customization in the workshop – motors, propellers, batteries, arms, wiring, and cooling systems have a real effect on the drone’s speed, thrust, flight time, and durability.

The story-driven campaign is divided into four acts, in which rescue operations inspired by real-life disasters and accidents gradually come together to form a thriller about people seeking a second chance through their work. Missions take place in a variety of locations – from forest trails and the coast, through the city center, to industrial districts – and changing weather, including winter, can completely alter the course of an otherwise familiar operation. The campaign takes about 10–15 hours to complete.

Two control modes, designed to appeal to experienced drone pilots and complete newcomers alike – Simulator faithfully replicates real drone control, with realistic stick mapping and unforgiving flight physics, while Arcade makes it easier to get started with flight assistance that forgives small mistakes. The game supports both controller and keyboard-and- mouse, offering first- and third-person views along with speed and wind indicators.”

Many challenge await you! Wishlist the game and be ready to take control when the time comes!
