Psychological Horror Title: Silent Wounds: The Doll Gets New Trailer

Horror comes in many forms. Many today like to prescribe to the vision of “violence and gore” being the true expression of the genre, but many know that sometimes…you just need to scare people in ways that are mental and emotional. Silent Wounds: The Doll is a psychological horror title based on a classic book, and in it, your character is slowly going mad, and you are powerless to stop it. The team at Lexip Games has revealed a new trailer for it, which you can see below. However, they also announced that when the game arrives on October 15th, the first episode will be free-to-play. Details below:

“Deeply inspired by a classic novel, Silent Wounds is an episodic, short-form psychological horror anthology that delves into the deepest recesses of the human psyche. Each self-contained episode narrates a complete, new story that tests the fragile boundaries of sanity, exploring the price of obsession and isolation.

In this world, there are no monsters to outrun and no zombies to fight. The narrative itself is the deadliest weapon, and the true terror lies in the unsettling truths you are about to uncover. The first episode, The Doll, centers on Victor’s dangerous obsession after returning home, dragging players into a deeply atmospheric and claustrophobic journey.”

And here are some of the game’s key features for you to check out:

  • A Unique Narrative Experience: A classic novel-style storytelling approach woven seamlessly into a tense gameplay environment.
  • Bite-Sized Horror: A focused 1-hour playtime, perfect for a single, uninterrupted session. Fans of short-form, atmospheric horror like Fears to Fathom will feel right at home.
  • Pure Psychological Terror: Relying on creeping dread rather than cheap tricks, jump scares are kept to an absolute minimum. The horror stems entirely from the heavy atmosphere, the haunting story, and deep psychological tension.
  • Completely Free to Play: The entire first episode will be available at no cost.

If you’re looking for a unique horror adventure, this might be one you wishlist…if you think you can handle it, that is…
