For games like Ratatan, the journey through Steam Early Access is a long one, but the payoff is meant to be huge, when done properly, of course. Ratata Arts has been working with the community to make their rhythm roguelike a truly fun experience, and on October 15th, Version 1.0 will launch on both PC and consoles. As such, the team decided to do a special press release breaking down what will happen when Version 1.0 arrives in a month. We even got a new trailer that you can check out below:
“Version 1.0 will introduce Episodes 3 and 4, continuing the story that has unfolded so far.
The final world—the destination of this long journey—and the battle against the final boss await.
In addition, all of the Dark Ratatan, who have been introduced gradually throughout Early Access, will finally come together. After growing and evolving together with all of you throughout Early Access, Ratatan is finally approaching its complete form.
And the orchestral recording we promised everyone has also become a reality. We hope you’ll play all the way to the end and discover for yourself how the orchestral music has been incorporated into the game.
Version 1.0 will also include many other new features and improvements.”
Pre-orders for the game are available now, and there is some special content that will arrive via those who get certain editions. Those who have been a part of the Early Access build will also be rewarded for their help in developing the game. So, if you’re interested, wishlist or pre-order your copy today!
