Tired of your 9-5 job? Longing for a change of pace? Yearning to have hundreds bow to your every whim, and praise your name eternal as you release the awe-inspiring powers of an eldritch deity? An absolutely delightful full release trailer promises Worship to be the solution.
Chasing Rats Games has announced that their newest singleplayer roguelike, Worship, is set to release November 4th, 2026, on PC and PlayStation 5! And if you listen close enough to the whisperings of the old gods, you’ll learn additional platform releases are scheduled for 2027.
Here’s the run down of the soon to be cult classic:
“Worship is a Pikmin-inspired singleplayer roguelike set in an open world, where players take on the role of a cult leader recruiting an army of followers to prove their devotion to an eldritch god of their choosing. Blending the minion-management charm of Pikmin and the dark whimsy of Cult of the Lamb, Worship invites players to command their followers, draw blood- symbol rituals on the ground to cast spells, and forge their own path through run-based adventures.”

Sounds like a pretty good deal, eh? And no mention of protruding tentacles! These Key Features are part of the deal, however:
- A Pikmin-like mix of RTS, exploration and puzzle solving.
- Command an army of devout followers eager to die for the cause.
- Draw blood symbols to cast devastating eldritch rituals on the nonbelievers.
- Meaningful bosses that can singlehandedly end your cult.
- Eldritch prophecies: Worship’s roguelite progression. Complete challenges during your runs to unlock new gods, more power, skins and more!
- Vast open areas to explore and corrupt in a world on the verge of collapse.
- Flavorful hand drawn animations in a distinctive black and white art style with scattered splashes of color.
In the words of Worship‘s full release trailer: “So what are you waiting for? Your new cult is waiting for a leader.” Play the game in Early Access today, and prepare for the full release on PC and PlayStation 5 November 4th, 2026!
