505 Games and ArtPlay unveiled new gameplay of Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement at the Tokyo Game Show 2026.

Set to launch in 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Seires X|S, this gothic action RPG is a prequel to the critically acclaimed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night:

“Unravel the dark origins of the Bloodstained universe and explore a hauntingly immersive 16th-century England steeped in a 2.5D gothic atmosphere, enthralling players in strategic battles, crafting, and exploration across a sprawling, cursed land.The story unfolds as a mysterious floating castle under the control of a sinister figure known as ‘Elias,’ casts a shadow over the land, terrorizing citizens with its demonic forces. Join two new heroes, Leonard and Alex as they rise to defeat Elias’s reign of terror and shatter the chains of a kingdom tormented by evil forces.”
