Tower defense titles are numerous in the gaming space, and it’s not hard to see why. They are a simple concept that you can enjoy across many different genres and platforms. Ironhide Game Studio has even made an entire franchise off of the concept, and its latest title, Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis, has released today on Steam, iOS, and Android. The new game brings a lot of variety to players, and you can learn all about it, and see it in action via a trailer, below:

“Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD takes players into the past, returning to the original lands of Linirea at a time when its greatest legends were still ordinary people and a young Vez’nan had yet to become the villain fans know today. After the Sword of Elynie tears open a portal through time, players must journey into the Kingdom’s history and attempt to stop Vez’nan’s corruption before it takes hold.

Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD features an original campaign spanning 18 handcrafted stages across three landscapes of early Linirea, including the Citadel, the Stormcloud Depths and the distant lands of Arcania.

Players will command 15 towers, 12 heroes and nine spells, combining classic Kingdom Rush favourites with new strategic options as they battle more than 40 enemies from five different factions and face six colossal bosses standing between them and the future.”

Pretty robust, huh? And when you look at the game’s key features, you’ll definitely get that feeling again:
