From the minds of Flyway Games in association with KRAFTON, inc., action-adventure platformer Waltz and Jam is a heartfelt and hand-animated piece overflowing with spirit (in more ways than one!). Follow the adventures of little ghost Waltz and his phantasmal puppy Jam as they venture through the seven realms of the afterlife in search of the Gate of Judgement.

Using the special skills granted to you by Waltz’s gadgets and Jam’s evolving cast of abilities, it looks like whimsy and fun will abound. Perfect for the onset of Spooky Season!

Players can look forward to all this and more:

• A Ghost and his Puppy: Explore the afterlife as Waltz together with Jam, a spirit puppy whose evolving abilities are essential to your quest.
• A Hand-Drawn Afterlife: Discover beautifully illustrated realms filled with charming characters, strange creatures, hidden secrets, and plenty of personality.
• Creative Puzzle-Solving: Use Waltz’s gadget-like toys and Jam’s unique abilities to solve environmental puzzles and uncover new paths.
• Seven Deadly Realms: Travel across seven distinct chapters inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, each introducing new environments, mechanics, enemies, and bosses.
• Trial by Combat: Face off against formidable bosses, learn their attack patterns, and work together with Jam to overcome each challenge.

Making its debut at the Game Devs of Color Expo, the new trailer sheds some new light on the game. This includes plenty of new gameplay clips for the viewer to get an idea of the flow of the game. Its contents therein seem most concerned with puzzles and boss fights the player can expect to encounter within the game. This contrasts with the original trailer released (which you can read up on in our previous article), which seemed mainly concerned with showcasing a proof-of-concept 2D animation, and had far fewer glimpses of actual gameplay.
