It’s truly a wonder to see just how far RuneScape has come over the years. It started as a “simple MMORPG” for players to grind for items, but then it slowly became its own universe of titles, including some that went outside of the MMO space. Due to its popularity with gamers, it even has its own event that’s coming back on Saturday. Jagex will host RuneFest 2026 to a sold-out crowd, and within it, they’ll announce new plans for the universe, which has grown even bigger this year, as we’ve covered.

“The countdown to RuneFest 2026 is on! From October 3rd through 4th, Jagex: The RuneScape company’s fully sold-out annual celebration will bring over 6,000 ‘Scapers from all walks of life together for an exciting weekend, packed with news, reveals, meet their favorite JMods and creators, exclusive merch, and more.

While tickets to the event at the NEC in Birmingham, UK are officially sold out, fans can still tune in on Twitch and YouTube to watch all the official RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, and RuneScape: Dragonwilds talks, updates, and announcements they won’t want to miss.”
