Given that it’s almost Halloween, it’s actually rather poetic that we’re talking about a witch-focused title, though not the one you might be expecting. The Witch’s Bakery is about a young witch who goes to Paris to, wait for it, open a bakery! Yeah, the title was kind of a spoiler. However, her RPG adventure only starts when the bakery opens up. There are plenty of stories to be told here, and now, the game is out on Steam, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. You can find out more about the game below:
“Grab your favourite witch hat and oven mitts – it’s time to get baking! The Witch’s Bakery by the magical team of Sunny Lab, published by Silver Lining Interactive is OUT NOW across all major platforms! Step into the flour-dusted shoes of Lunne today and heal the hearts of Paris, one croissant at a time.
As the bakery door swings open today, players will find themselves balancing the coziness of a small business with the responsibility of an emotional narrative journey!
For those Parisians whose emotions are locked away by deep-rooted woes, baking a simple croissant isn’t enough! Using her special power, Lunne can enter Heart Palaces, hidden realms where emotions take physical shape. Players must navigate these magical mazes to guide emotions back to the heart, to help them heal.”
The game is out digitally now, but Silver Lining Interactive will drop physical copies on the 16th, which you can get here. Regardless of which version you get, your days within the game will be busy, as the daytime, evening, and night cycles will all allow you to do various things to help expand your craft and take you in some surprising directions.
So what are you waiting for? Your bakery awaits, as do the people whose lives you’ll change through it!
