It’s been good news after good news for fans of the Remothered series. From an announcement of remastered editions for the first two installments, Remothered: Tormented Fathers or Remothered: Broken Porcelain, to the upcoming release of the end of the trilogy, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, the future is looking bright. But Stormind Games has made one more announcement, and it’s far from something to fear.

“Players who purchased an original copy of Remothered: Tormented Fathers or Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be able to upgrade to the corresponding Remastered edition at no additional cost during the first seven days after release. The initiative recognises the support of the community that has been part of Remothered’s journey since its debut.”

The CEO and Co-Founder of Stormind Games themself had some words to say about why the studio is upgrading the games for free:

“The community has played a fundamental role in the history of Remothered. Those who purchased and supported the first two games directly contributed to the growth of the series. We therefore want to give them access to the remastered editions at no additional cost. The free upgrade is meant as a concrete thank you for the support we’ve received over time.”

– Antonio Cannata, CEO and Co-Founder of Stormind Games

Remothered: Tormented Fathers Remastered and Remothered: Broken Porcelain Remastered are set to release in Q1 2027. For those who already have the original versions and helped the series get to where it is, make sure to get the free upgrade within those first seven days! You helped make it happen, after all!
