The Nintendo Switch 2 has been lighting up console charts since its arrival last year, and to be honest, that’s not likely to stop anytime soon. As such, you can expect numerous teams to put their indie titles on the platform to try and reach new gamers. For Bit Egg Inc., they’ve been having some great success with their hidden object point-and-click title Lost and Found Co. on Steam. The next step for them is to bring it to the Switch 2, and they’ll do so next year! No exact release date has been given, but they promise it’ll be “early” in the new year. Want to know more about the title? Here you go:

“Join Ducky, a duck-turned-human, on his journey to find lost belongings for Plumville’s townspeople while helping the long-forgotten Goddess Mei regain her fame. Explore a beautiful hand-drawn world with an award- winning soundtrack and discover cute, quirky, and heartwarming stories through a vibrant cast of characters, thousands of pokable objects, hidden secrets, and fun surprises.”

And here are some of the features you can expect with the Switch 2 version:

• Local and Online Co-op – Find lost items together with up to 4 players, both online through GameShare via GameChat or locally on the same device

• Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls – Experience a true “point-and-click” adventure with the Joy-Con 2! Use the controller as a mouse to point, explore, and hunt for hidden objects

• Motion Controls – Move and point the controller to guide the on-screen cursor

• Touchscreen – Tap, pinch, and drag anywhere on the screen to interact precisely with your fingertips

• Play Anywhere – Search for lost items at home or take the adventure on the go, thanks to the Nintendo Switch’s portability

The game has gotten critical and fan acclaim on Steam, so if the Switch 2 version matches up to that, this will be a worthy port to get.
