Roguelite Everything Is Crab Heading To Console and Mobile Platforms

•

As we’ve talked about with other titles in the past, it’s a good sign when a game dev reveals that its title is moving to other platforms. Why? Because more platforms mean more options for players to get the game, and that means more chances to buy it and make a profit off it. In the case of Everything is Crab, devs Secret Mode and Odd Dreams Digital already had a good release on Steam earlier this year, and now, they’ve announced they’re going to move to Android, iOS, Nintendo
Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Microsoft Store, and Mac. For more details on the game, check out below:

“Everything is Crab gives players control of Darwin, a little blue blob with infinite potential. Adapt and survive in a harsh ecosystem, eating food to evolve new body parts that will help you fight, flee, forge friendships, and more as you create your very own freaky little guy. Push your survival skills to the limit with 20 difficulty levels and a cornucopia of crafty challenges. Whether you’re an apex predator, a swift prey animal, or a social butterfly, there are many ways to survive this world – how will
you evolve?

Everything is Crab will launch first on Android and iOS on 24 November 2026. The mobile editions have been optimised for the smaller screen and treated to a revised control scheme perfect for touchscreens. Players will experience all the same content as its PC forebear, now on a screen that fits in their pocket.

Console players won’t have to wait too long, with Switch 2, Switch, PS5, and XBOX Series X|S editions all launching on 26 January 2027, alongside new Microsoft Store and Mac versions.”

If you get the Switch version and want to upgrade it to the Switch 2 version, you’ll be able to do that via a free upgrade pack. No matter what version you get, you’ll receive all the same content that the PC version had, so no one is missing out on the roguelite goodness, which includes…

  • Endless evolution possibilities: Create your ultimate lifeform from over 140 evolutions and specialisations, whether you’re ready to fight or determined to flee
  • A living, thriving ecosystem: Attack or avoid creatures with their own goals and evolutions, explore distinct biomes with game- altering conditions, and survive perilous nights with reduced vision
  • Challenge yourself: Take on 20 levels of difficulty, try different genetics to make each new run different, tackle a range of tough Challenges, and see how long you can survive an apocalypse event in Endless runs
