Survive Unknowable Monsters in ANOMALITH Today

•

The Tokyo-based development studio FURYU has launched their very first survival horror shooter ANOMALITH for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 for $9.99 USD.

Inspired by recent “anomaly horror” media, ANOMALITH puts the player in the shoes of spatial anomaly investigator Reona Minazuki:

“Spatial anomalies known as ‘Otherworlds’ have appeared without warning. The government’s ‘Special Danger Zone Countermeasures Office’ has been unsuccessful in repelling the threat and determining its origin… Reona must rescue her lost friend, determine the origins of the Anomaly Zones and navigate the mystery of her new powers.”

There are plenty of new worlds to explore, as well as ways to customize your character:

“Manage resources while fending off strange enemy creatures, upgrade and exploit 12 unique game-changing powers and customize your weapons and outfits with numerous possibilities and stat-altering functionality. Strange worlds including an apartment complex with inverted gravity, shopping streets that extend infinitely or a dark hall that seems to be writhing with a life of its own make each dive into the Anomaly Zones a dangerous one.”

To commemorate the launch, FURYU has released special illustrations from character designer MON, which can be found on the official Twitter/X account and the Steam page newsfeed. The Digital Deluxe version is also available for purchase for $69.99 USD. It features additional content such as the 80-page idigital art book, a select mini-soundtrack, and the DLC set. ANOMALITH on Steam can be purchased at a 10% off. Check out the whole trailer below.
