Content updates are a nice way of adding even more bulk to games without forcing players to buy new content. The team at Starbrew Games decided to do just that with its casual exploration title Duck Side of the Moon, as it’s getting a “Homegrown Update” on November 17th. That date is also important because it marks the launch of the PS5 version of the title. So, what’s a duck to do when it goes to space and beyond? Don’t worry, we have details on the game and its update below:

“Duck Side of the Moon is a cozy relaxing exploration game starring a duck astronaut who got stranded in space… and must find his way home.

Short Waddle and fly as a duck in space! Explore every corner of the galaxy and find curious creatures and materials along the way. Craft gadgets, upgrade your spaceship, and get cozy in this relaxing adventure.

Long Waddle and fly as a duck in space! Duck Side of the Moon is an exploration game about a duck astronaut stranded in a cozy galaxy, focused on open-world crafting and relaxed quests. Players drift through a whimsical galaxy as Doug the duck, gathering materials, crafting gadgets and upgrading their crashed spaceship, turning it into a cozy home. The game centers around relaxation, featuring no combat or death. Crashed because he’s overworked, Doug is destined to learn the value of rest! (Or is he?)”

If you’re still unsure about the adventure ahead, check out these key features:

• Explore a cozy galaxy filled with secrets and rare resources to mine
• Make friends with talking rocks and solve wholesome quests
• Upgrade and customize your spaceship, turning it into a cozy home.

• Discover a heartfelt story about finding a home and the value of rest
• Customize your duck with silly outfits and hats
• And yes, there is a quack button!

The update itself adds the ability to garden on the worlds you go to, as well as to customize the spaceship you have! Plus, there will be new beings to meet as you go on the adventures the content update adds. And again, it’s all free. So, whether you have the Steam version or want the PS5 version, this is one duck-filled title to check out.
