Medieval Action Title The Joust Boasts Overhaul Via Player Suggestions

•

Developers have many avenues these days to try to make the games they want and to see how they can improve upon the ideas in their heads. Many choose to put their games out there and then slowly improve them over time via player suggestions and feedback. It takes a little longer to get to 100%, but the team knows that doing so will help grow the community and help them feel “part of the process.” The team behind The Joust did just that with its medieval action title, and now, they’re highlighting some key changes they’ve made over the last few months:

“We’ve been making The Joust for the last 4 months and we’ve been adding tons of requested features from community
suggestions. Over 100 updates have been added and we’ve recently overhauled the full engine and graphics making the game looking and feeling even smoother!”

Admittedly, the game may not look like much at first. But when you dive into it, you see that there are indeed levels to the combat, and there was some serious passionate put into things. Here are some key features to help showcase that:

  • Physics-based combat
  • 100+ playable classes, each with distinct weapons, attributes, and abilities
  • Multiplayer for up to 20 players (8-player Co-op, 4-player split-screen)
  • Ingame modding features: Stage Builder, Campaign Builder, Weapon Builder,
    Ability Editor
  • Runs on integrated graphics

The game is available right now on Steam to buy! Don’t miss out!
