Cozy RPG game Mirthwood, from developer, Bad Ridge Games and publisher V Publishing, has a free brand-new update as of July 10th. Revealed on the ClemmyGame’s Best Indie Games Summer Showcase, it includes the much-anticipated local split-screen co-op mode and Steam Remote Play. The update also supports drop-in/drop-out multiplayer and shared world progression, with each player having their own individual inventory.
The biggest draw is that your character and your co-op partner’s character can not only get married but also raise a child as well, making it perfect for couples who like to game together. The update will also include some smaller features such as combat having directional indicators, an enemy lock-on system, and new revive mechanics.
