Have you noticed that Noir has been making a comeback in certain ways recently? It seems that many properties, including video games, are more than happy to dive back “into the past” to deliver a unique set of visuals, alongside detective-style mechanics. You might recall a recent game doing that via a key mouse title, and soon, Case Solved: The London Files will add itself to that list.
Developed by Minimol Games and published by SpecNext Ltd., the game was already announced to be coming to Steam. However, there’s been an update on that, as the “Cozy Noir Detective Puzzle” game is now set to arrive on iOS, Android, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch!
To showcase what fans can look forward to, a special “Console Announce Trailer” was dropped alongside the announcement:
In Case Solved: The London Files, you’ll play a Scotland Yard detective who attempts to solve three different cases set across London. To figure out the truth, you’ll have to interrogate suspects, find clues strewn throughout the environments, and then carefully piece together the clues, work through the witness statements, and come up with who really is the killer!
If you think this is for you, a demo is available for you to try.
