As July rolls on, there will be more and more games for you to play, and that includes plenty of indie titles to enjoy! So, if you’re up for a cozy detective adventure, you might want to check out Case Solved: The London Files! We’ve talked about this before, but now, the game has an official release date of July 29th!
Here’s a synopsis and trailer for you to enjoy:
“As a noir-inspired gumshoe, you’ll hit the rainslicked streets of the capital ready to solve a series of murders. Armed with your sharp mind, a pen and paper, and a mug of tea big enough to swim in, you’ll poke holes into alibis and witness statements and uncover the truth.”
Minimol Games has crafted a clever take on detective cases, as you’ll need to truly use logic to find the truth. They make it clear that “luck” will not get you to the end of the line. You’ll need to interview people, gather proper clues, and then connect the dots to see what unfolded in the murders before you:
“Settle into the 1960s vibes, complete with a finger-tapping jazz soundtrack, perfect for players who want to sit back and solve cases at their own pace. Taking aim at the capital’s crime has never been so relaxing or rewarding.”
If you want to try it out before release, check out the demo! Also, if you don’t want the game on Steam, you can get it via iOS and Android, Google Play Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. In other words, you’ll find something to play it on.
