This often gives them more freedom, which allows for more creative titles to be made. In the case of Distruptive Games, they are comprised of members who used to work at Insomniac Games. That right there should speak to the level of talent that is likely within the team. Just as important, their title, Wreck Runners, is dropping on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in just one month.

As for what Wreck Runners is, it’s the latest in a long line of extraction titles, or looter shooters. This time, though, you and three of your friends will descend into the infamous Bermuda Triangle. Fun times! Using your special ship, the ORCA, you’ll traverse the islands within the triangle, get loot onto the ship, and avoid dying from all the terrifying entities you’ll encounter along the way.

No pressure, right? The more you loot, the more you’ll be able to sell, so you can upgrade your team to handle tougher challenges.
