As we’ve shown, Kickstarter is a place where many indie games, both digital and tabletop, go to be born, because it allows teams and even solo developers to pitch their titles directly to gamers and give those players a chance to invest in the game and watch it come to life right before their eyes. Today, we’re talking about Around The Stump Games, who are getting ready to launch Button Kingdoms on Kickstarter. It’ll drop next Tuesday, but you can sign up for notifications today on the pre-launch page!

On the pre-launch page, they describe Button Kingdoms as the following:

“The social deck-building game of conquering a make-believe playground world by bringing together an army of plush toys.”

But it goes beyond that, as this is a “social market” game where your “turn” is far more pronounced than in other card games of this type. Typical games last about an hour at most, can be enjoyed by up to 4 players, and yes, features plushies of all shapes and sizes going at it for total domination.
