There are a LOT of properties in gaming and beyond that focus on main characters being able to “bend the elements to their will.” On the gaming side of things, developers New Tales and Emeteria are set to launch their action RPG Fading Echo on July 21st on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. That means you’ll have a new way to get your “elemental game” on soon enough!

“Players step into the waterlogged shoes of “One”, a young Legend gifted with the power of Æther, who must defeat a mysterious force known as the Paradox to save a fracturing multiverse. To do so, they’ll shift between human and water blob forms, bend reality, and manipulate water across its liquid, vapor, and ice states.

Fading Echo sets a new standard for systemic gameplay: every element in the world, from water and vapor to terrain and enemies, reacts dynamically to player action, opening the door to mind-bending environmental puzzles and emergent combat opportunities born from twisting the laws of physics and elemental nature.”

Sounds a bit “dry” to us… Get it? Joking aside, the game won’t just be coming to PC, but also Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 later this year. For those who do want to get it on PC, go and pre-order/wishlist the RPG so you can be ready when it drops in less than two weeks!
