Fading Echo is a New Release of an Unlikely Hero

The city of Corel has ancient forces awakening, dimensions tearing at the seams, and a hero that…..didn’t exactly sign up for this.

Enter New Tales and Emeteria’s release of Fading Echo, where you can play as One, a young Legend who didn’t ask for the ‘gift’ of Aether that they’ve been given. Now, faced with fitting into a very messy world that refuses to keep things together (rude honestly), this unwitting hero has to face down an entire mess of things. One, namely Paradox, who just can’t leave things alone. All the while hoping that it won’t fall apart in the process of trying to survive it.

Experience floating islands, unstable portals, and long-forgotten civilizations throughout your travels. Though be wary; there may be a few unexpected creatures lying in wait. And what fun is an adventure if you’re doing it alone? Saving the world is a team activity after all. Meet unlikely heroes, dysfunctional family members (don’t we all?), ancient mysteries, and what kind of party would we be without one animal companion? There’s no going small in Corel after all, so go big or go home because their flying whale will put the rest of them to shame.

With fast-paced combat, traversal, and mind-bendingly wild puzzles, the players are searching for an answer to a far deeper question. Who is One?

Throughout Fading Echo, players can transform into water to traverse various environments laid throughout the game. Discover hidden passages, solve environmental puzzles, and create various combat opportunities. Every part of this game interacts with one another, encouraging the player to experiment and laying the groundwork for replayability.

Fading Echo is available now on PC via Steam and Epic Games. Keep an eye out for PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S version releases later this year.

Also, be sure to follow Fading Echo on all the socials: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Discord for all the lore drops.
