Demos and betas are a common thing with developers, especially indie developers, as every piece of feedback they get from players can be the difference between having a good game at launch or having the latest “broken title” that many like to make fun of. For Road Truckers: New Beginning, the team at Road Studio S.A. have been through quite a bit, just look at their Gamescom experience for proof, but they have stepped up and have officially launched the beta for their driving simulator with RPG elements. Here’s a tease of what’s to come, alongside the newest trailer:

“Road Truckers: New Beginning is the first trucking sim with RPG elements, where you restore the economy of a small town and its surrounding region. Not by fighting, but by driving.”

Now, as for what will be a part of the actual playtest, we have details on that as well:

• The entire first map. It’s your home area, which you will support by expanding your business and renovating your town.
• No time limits. Play as long as you want (as long as the playtest is active).
• Truck customization, quests, player development – it’s all here.
• Streamer mode included (the radio available with it on is copyright-safe).
